# Introduction

Innovative methods in breath and food analysis (IMBFA) is jointly organized event by Jaroslav Heyrovsky Institute in Prague and Plasmion GmbH company based in Augsburg, Germany. Since both organizers are having strong background in food and breath analysis, we have decided to aim this meeting to be primarily the platform for active networking and knowledge sharing. We hope it’s rather small format will provide sufficient room for vivid discussion and fruitful socialization.
